Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
A New Doorway Into Deep Healing
Trauma has a way of staying locked in the body and the nervous system — even when you’ve done the work, even when you understand it intellectually. Sometimes the deepest healing requires opening a door that talk therapy alone can’t reach.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is that door.
What Is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a powerful, evidence-based healing modality that combines the therapeutic effects of ketamine with intentional psychotherapy to support deep healing and transformation
Unlike traditional antidepressants, ketamine works quickly and creates a unique state of expanded awareness that can help you access parts of yourself that are typically difficult to reach. When guided by a trained therapist, this experience becomes a profound opportunity for healing.
KAP has shown significant results in supporting:
Trauma and PTSD — processing experiences that feel stuck or frozen
Depression — including treatment-resistant depression
Anxiety — releasing patterns rooted in the nervous system
Emotional blocks — moving through what feels immovable
How It Works at Soluna Soulwork
At Soluna, KAP is not a standalone procedure — it is a deeply held therapeutic experience woven into your healing journey. Every session is grounded in the same IFS-informed, somatic, trauma-focused framework that guides all of our work together.
The process has three phases:
Preparation
Before your first KAP session, we meet to explore your intentions, your history, and what you hope to access. You will also work with our trusted medical partners who handle all screening and prescribing. Safety and readiness come first.
The KAP Session
Your ketamine session is held virtually, in the comfort and safety of your own space. I am with you throughout — holding the container, supporting your experience, and guiding you with care.
Integration
This is where the real transformation takes root. After your session, we meet to process what came up, make meaning of your experience, and weave the insights into your daily life. Integration is not optional — it is everything.
Is This Right for You?
KAP at Soluna may be a fit if you:
Have been doing healing work and feel ready to go deeper
Are experiencing depression, anxiety, or trauma that feels resistant to other approaches
Are open to an expanded, non-ordinary state as part of your healing
Are located in North Carolina or South Carolina (required for virtual sessions)
Are committed to the full process — preparation, experience, and integration
Your Questions, Answered
Is ketamine legal?
Yes. Ketamine is an FDA-approved medicine that has been used safely in medical settings for decades. Our medical partners handle all screening, prescribing, and medical oversight — ensuring your safety every step of the way.
Will I feel out of control?
Many people describe KAP as feeling like a dream state — expansive, fluid, and deeply inward. You are always held in a safe container, and I am present with you throughout your session. Most clients describe it as one of the most profound experiences of their healing journey.
How is this different from other KAP providers?
At Soluna, you are never just receiving a medicine session. You are held within a container — one built on trust, trauma-informed care, and a deep commitment to your transformation. The therapeutic work before and after the session is what makes the difference.
How many sessions will I need?
Every person’s journey is different. We will explore this together in your consultation based on your history, your goals, and what feels aligned for you.
I have more questions.
That’s exactly what your consultation is for. This is a conversation — not a sales call. We’ll explore whether KAP feels like the right next step for you and answer everything you need to feel informed and ready.
Ready to Explore?
If something in you is leaning toward this — trust that.
The first step is a complimentary consultation where we can talk about your history, your goals, and whether KAP is the right fit for your healing journey.
Currently available virtually for residents of North Carolina and South Carolina only. KAP services are cash-pay and not covered by insurance.
